If you choose to pursue this area of study options available are
Diploma of Ayurveda or Advanced Diploma of Ayurveda . Many course
providers provide both distance and online courses allowing students to
study at their own free time. After doing these course you can register
with Australasian Association of Ayurveda (AAA) or Australasian Ayurvedic Practitioners Association
(AAPA) as an Ayurvedic lifestyle consultant with Diploma of Ayurveda
and register as Ayurveda practitioner with Advanced Diploma in
Ayurveda.
You can register with Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA) if you have done course from ANTA approved institution.
Overseas Ayurvedic Practitioner
If you are an Ayurveda Practitioner from India then you don’t need to do any of this course. You can get registered with AAA or AAPA straight away but you have to be in Australia.

Completed AAA membership form with 2 professional referees

After registration you will be a legal and authorized Ayurveda
practitioner as you will be able to get professional indemnity
insurance to cover you for any mis-happenings during treatment.
As Australia is the only Western country where Ayurveda is recognized
as a bonafide system of medicine , some of the private health funds
cover Ayurveda treatments that means client can claim services offered
by an Ayurveda Practitioner.
It is important to know that there are not many jobs as Ayurveda
physician you might have to start from your home or join one of the
Ayurvedic practice on casual basis to gain some experience how to work
as Ayurveda physician in Australia.
Migration to Australia:
Most often the candidate needs IELTS or TOFEL exams with more than 7 band.
There is no direct migration at this stage, by registering with AAA or any other organisation, does not guarantee the entry.
The individual has to depend on the state migration policy.
